We at The Washington Post are fans of Game of Thrones. A more realistic game of thrones in the District of Columbia is inside the government. In a promotional effort to generate views based on the upcoming 2015 season of Game of Thrones we recreated the title sequence with assets from Washington D.C. and the government, specifically.
We did generate unique visitors to the site before, during, and after the season. It became a fanfare around the office as well. It won our video team of 3 designer/animators the regional Emmy for best animation.
